1. Call meeting to order by Hillary Hewitt
2. Approval of May Minutes –

Unanimously Approved

• Organize school council
  • Establish note taker for meetings
  • Kevin (selected in last meeting)
  • Establish rules of order and procedures
• Review requirements for open and public meetings
• By-Laws Review
  • Everyone reviewed, one minor correction needed noted – section 18 states officers will be selected in fall, but we are changing to spring if seats are filled in spring
• Determine future meeting dates/times for year
  • Discussed moving time to 4pm, reviewed dates as outlined on school website
  • Approved unanimously

Principals Report:

• Fall CBM data and previous year’s plan
  • Data not ready, will bring for next meeting

• August Safety drill report
  • August Drill – Fire
  • Sept will be lockdown drill
• Budgets
• Cell tower – $29,002.80
  • School asking for ($2,000 for PTC dinners) ($5,000 Holiday Party, Moral items, holiday gift) & ($3,000 PBIS Rewards, $5,000 field trips)
• Land Trust – $79,034.14
  • We have purchased Reading Plus $8,540.00, iReady 1,540.00, ST Math $920.00
  • Instructional Assistants
• TSSP – $34,285.71
  • Makerspace Materials
  • Instructional Assistants hired with exception of MTSS
• Motion to approve cell tower funds by Hillary, second by Lyndsi
  • Unanimously approved
• Parking Lot
  • Driving behavior continues to be a challenge
  • Proposal has been put in to extend the East parking lot to allow more drop-off/pickup space
  • Likely to have the change made, but not sure how soon it can happen
• Input from the community if present/other topics open for discussion
• Brief discussion on new program for keeping kids in for lunch with Stop/Go system – positive feedback from council
