Thanks to PTA

We would like to give a HUGE shout out to our Sunrise PTA for all of their efforts over last week. Our book fair, Grownups and Goodies as well as dinner for our teachers during conferences were all put on by our PTA.

Interested in becoming a member? They would LOVE to have you join in! PTA needs parents, grandparents, caregivers, teachers, friends etc.! Contributions of time, money or opinions are all welcome! No contribution is too small! The more members they have and the more diverse their group is, can qualify our school for various grants and awards from the National PTA organization.

We’d LOVE to have you join in! PTA membership is only $6 per year and meetings are on the 2nd Monday of each month. Attendance in meetings and volunteering are not required in membership.

Parent Square – Primary Communication Method

Starting on November 1st Parent Square will be the primary method of communication for our school. All messaging from the school including this newsletter, messages from teachers etc. will ALL be done through parent square. If you have not already done so, please sign up and get the app. The app will work on both apple and android devices. Custodial Day Today!

We cannot let today go by without saying THANK YOU to our amazing custodian Bobby Bateman! He is a superstar here at Sunrise and we appreciate all of his efforts in making our school clean and welcoming to all of our students!

Parking Lot Tip

Crosswalks- Please wait for the adult/safety Patrol member to put up the stop sign before entering the area. They ensure that the area is safe for you to cross.

Education Leave Forms

As a reminder, with holidays etc. fast approaching, we’d like to remind you that if you are going to be using an education leave form to excuse your students absence, to please hand them in 10 days in advance of the first day you’ll be out. We appreciate it!
