Teacher of the Year Nominations

Teacher of the year nominations have begun! There are only a few weeks for parents to go to the district website and nominate a teacher of the year winner for our school. We have some INCREDIBLE teachers here at Sunrise so PLEASE take the time to fill out a nomination form for the one you feel deserves the accolades! Nomination window will close on February 6th, so don’t waste any time!

Book Blitz

The next book blitz meeting will be on January 23rd at 3 pm, mark your calendars!

Dad’s & Donuts

We’ve got a Dad’s & Donuts event this Friday January 20th at 7:45 am in the cafeteria. Please enter through the west doors for this event. West side parking will be blocked off for faculty, so please use the north side parking areas. See you there!

Kinder Pre-Registration

We are taking pre-registration forms for our 2023-24 kindergarten classes. Do you have a child that will be the age of 5 by September 1st?  If so, please come in and fill out a form!

6th Grade Registration

Parents keep an eye out for information regarding middle school registration for your students. Indian Hills middle school (our feeder school) and Midvale Middle School (For SALTA) are going to be sending home their registration cards with your students. The 5th Grade teachers will be communicating with parents as well on the middle school orientations.

Chess Wizard Class

After school chess class available soon! It is scheduled to begin on 1/25/23 and will be held Wednesdays through 3/8/23 from 3-4 pm. Interested? Classes are $150.00. Go to http://entrada.revtrak.net and click on community education, then after school enrichment programs for winter 2023, then select chess wizards on the left to register!

Tennis Classes

After school tennis classes from the Salt Lake Tennis and Health Club are available starting on 1/24/23 and will be held Tuesdays through 3/4/23 from 3-4 pm. This class will have a student hitting a tennis ball on the first day of class despite their current athletic ability. The classes are $96.00. Go to http://entrada.revtrak.net and click on community education, then after school enrichment programs for winter 2023, then select tennis fundamentals for youth on the left to register!
