Sunrise Singers

Sunrise Singers is BACK! If your student has decided to participate (2nd-5th grades) they meet on Wednesday mornings from 7:30-8:15 am. A permission slip must be filled out/signed by a parent. Students enter into the front doors by the PTA staff who run the program and they will only be there from 7:30-7:35 am. If students arrive after that time, they may have to wait until 7:45 am when the front doors open for breakfast, so please plan to arrive on time! Choir will be practicing several songs that they will perform at a choir concert as well as a student assembly. Communication for choir is done through email, if you did not include your email on the form, please send it with your student to choir so it can be added.

Parent Square – Do You Have It?

Starting on November 1st Parent Square will be the only method of communication for our school. All messaging from the school including this newsletter, messages from teachers etc. will ALL be done through parent square. If you have not already done so, please sign up and get the app. The app will work on both apple and android devices. Parking Lot Tip

Our message for today- keep that line moving. When in the drop off/pick up lane, please do the best you can to assist your student(s) to enter and exit quickly and safely so we can keep the line moving. We appreciate it!

Watch Dogs – Sign Up!

Are you interested in signing up to be a watch dog at our school? We have fixed the sign-up link on our website! Go to the bottom of the main page, click on the watch dogs logo, Then click on “here” and that will get you to the sign in page. We still have A LOT of spots to fill and we’d love to have you!

Weather Reminder

As a reminder, students will be asked to still line up outside and attend recess outdoors even when the cooler weather arrives. If the temperature reaches 22 degrees (feels like) or lower, then we will call a red flag day, and students will remain indoors. A reg flag will also be posted at the front of the school as an indicator that it’s an inside day.
