Book Blitz- 1st Mtg Today

We are excited for our first Book Blitz Jr meeting today, November 7th, from 3:00-3:40 in the library. During the meeting, our readers are going to pick books to read this year and form teams to help them prepare for the competition in March. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Food Drive

Sunrise PTA is sponsoring a food drive from November 7-18th. Non-perishable donations and monetary donations are accepted (envelopes for cash/check can be picked up in front office). Please see the attached flyer for details on items most needed at the food bank. The Utah Food Bank community appreciates your support. Last year they were able to distribute 67.3 million pounds which equals 56.1 million meals! Our schools support, along with others in the valley, makes this happen, so we hope you’ll choose to participate.

Parking Lot Tip

Once the end of day bell rings students are to wait for their ride outside near the drive through area. If the parents have not shown up by 3:10 pm, students are brought into the office where they can contact a parent to see if they are on their way, and they can wait until the parent arrives.

Attendance Winners

The following students were 100% attendance winners for the month of October! Jude M., Carmyn M., Thomas E., Truman P., Anna A., Piper V. Congratulations!

Thank you!

The faculty and staff would like to say a BIG thank you to all who participated in our Halloween activities. We had MANY parents/family members join us for the parade and several more take the time to come into our classrooms to help our teachers celebrate with activities and games. We truly could not do it all without the help from our community, so again THANK YOU!
