Book Blitz Comp. TODAY

Our school Book Blitz Competition will be today, Monday, March 27th from 3:00-4:00. This event is only for students participating in Book Blitz and the volunteers who are helping run the competition. Good luck to all readers! This is the last meeting this school year and we’ve had a great time reading together.

SCC Elections

Parents, we have 2 positions opening on our School Community Council for the coming year. Would you be interested in participating? Our SCC are parents who work together with the principal to increase student achievement. By law they also review school data and help develop plans for school improvement. You would need to commit to one meeting per month from 4-5pm on Wednesdays as well as a training that has a date/time TBA. We have forms available in the office.

NOMINATIONS NEEDED TO OFFICE BY APRIL 18TH. We will announce voting once candidates/ballots are ready.

Safety Reminder

Parents, please review our pick up/drop off procedures on our website, under the family resources tab. These procedures have been chosen to protect the safety of ALL students and the community. The office staff are continually getting reports of parents NOT following these plans and endangering the safety of other students/vehicles. These parents have seen some close calls, so PLEASE, for the safety of yourselves and others, follow the guidelines.

Enrollment for 2023-24

We are already processing enrollment for the 2023-24 school year. If you have an incoming student, please go to the canyons district website and click on “enroll” right under the photo banner to complete an enrollment application. Please include the documentation: birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency.

PTA Fundraiser

The Sunrise PTA is preparing their annual fun run and silent auction for April 27th from 5:30-7:30 pm right here at the school!
