School Lunch Changes & Information

School lunches are no longer paid for under a federal grant. If your student plans to eat lunch at school you’ll be required to pay for their lunches. To put money on your student’s lunch account you’ll need to pay online in your Skyward family access. Canyons District will be covering any fees associated with paying online. Payments will not be accepted at the school. Costs are the following:

Breakfast: $1.00       Lunch: $2.00

If you would like to apply for the Free & Reduced lunches, you can do so by going to Skyward family access, click on food service, and access to an application can be found there. You can also come into the office to fill out an application. Once approved, students would receive breakfast/lunch for the following amount:

Reduced Breakfast: $0.30

Reduced Lunch: $0.40

Students wanting to purchase milk to have with their home lunch will need to have money in their Skyward lunch account in order to purchase. Lunch workers will not accept money from students to purchase it. Milk cost is $0.50 each.

Students who have used all of the funds in their lunch account will still be served a lunch per Canyons District policy. Canyons District will notify you if you have a negative lunch balance and ask you to make a payment.

Parents wishing to eat lunch with their student in the cafeteria must bring EXACT CHANGE to eat with their student. Adult meals are $3.75 and must be paid in cash or check. Parents cannot use their students lunch account balance to purchase food for themselves.
