Learning environment forms are now available to parents for the 2024-2025 school year. It is the goal of every staff member at Sunrise Elementary School to provide the very best education possible for the children. Teachers know which students should be separated and which students will work well together. While it is not possible to place all students according to personal preference, the school realizes that there are, in rare cases, unusual or serious circumstances (medical, psychological, personal, etc.) that may require special consideration. If you would like to provide input concerning your child’s unique circumstances, please complete the attached form and return it to the school office no later than April 30, 2024.
The entire staff at Sunrise Elementary School is dedicated to making school a positive experience for every student. All requests will be reviewed by the principal and carefully considered.
Additional considerations:

- If there is a particular teacher with whom you have experienced difficulty, we will try to see that your child is not assigned to that teacher.

- Please do not request that your child be placed with friends.

- Some requests may not be possible to meet in order to maintain class balance.

- Requests made on the basis of community reputation, hearsay evidence, or personal preference are more likely to be denied.
