- SCC Bylaws Conversation- Wanted to get conversation started. Please read over the current bylaws and review mark-ups to go in depth at our January meeting
- Proposal to move SCC voting to Spring- all agree the spring makes more sense for voting, however there is concern that not all parents will be informed (incoming SALTA and kindergarten parents) on becoming a part of the SCC, we will revisit in January and make the vote then.
- Update on Book Machine – It is supposed to be here the end of November
Can we buy our book fair to fill the vending machine, will make it part of the PBIS system
- Field Trips – We are not sure yet if we will need SCC support and won’t likely know until Spring. Right now we have only had one field trip for the year.
Unknown still, we don’t want to put cell tower funds if we don’t need to. Most field trips happen in the spring, we will discuss when it comes closer
- November Budgets
- Cell Tower $30742.00- book vending machine will come out of this.
- Land Trust $64,231.00
- TSSP $78671.00
We are ready to order science materials now as well for the Maker space, $10k was budgeted for materials for the maker space and $5k was budgeted for the aid, if we don’t use the 5K for the aid this year we can use it towards materials.
Angela discussed how we can go about making our goals come January. The teachers will really be the ones making the goals.
Social Emotional Learning update: No SEL program was put into place. All teachers are doing morning meetings.
