Student Phones/Watch

After the holidays we have students that receive new technology as gifts and we would like to remind our community of the district policy in regards to phones and watches that can text/call. These devices are welcomed at school with your student, however they must be “stored, out of sight, and silenced during the school day” per Canyons District policy. Students needing to communicate with parents during the school day are to use the school phones with teacher permission.

We appreciate your help in communicating these phone/watch protocols with your students. If you have questions in regards to your students phone/watch in the classroom, please reach out to your students’ teacher.

Please see the following link for the Canyons District policy of electronic devices in the classroom: https://www.canyonsdistrict.org/policies/student/expectations-protections/500-6/school-level-guidelines-for-personal-electronic-devices/
