Fun Run Thank you!
The PTA would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all who participated in this years PTA Fun Run and silent auction. They collected $14,000 in donations for our school! This is wonderful news and we are thrilled to be able to continue the many programs they provide next year.
Last Day is Early Release
As a reminder the last day of school is an early release day and school is out at 12:15 pm. We will not be serving lunch on that day.
Kinder KEEP Assessment Reminder
The scheduling window for the kindergarten KEEP assessments will be closing to parents at 5 pm on May 13th. Please make sure that you have scheduled your students time with your teacher as soon as possible.
Kindergarten Last Day
The last day of school for kindergarten students is on May 20th. This allows time the following week for the teachers to meet with parents for their assessments.
Field Day on Wednesday
Field Day is scheduled for this Wednesday May 18th. Each grade level will have the opportunity to enjoy some time outside. The schedule is set, so if your student misses it, we cannot make accommodations. Please make sure they are dressed appropriately for the weather and are wearing sunscreen (an extra set of clothing in their backpack may also be a good idea)

Lost & Found / Items Left in Classrooms
The lost and found is over flowing with coats / hoodies! Please take the time to come and look through it and see if any of them belong to you/your students.
Please ask your students to take all personal items home with them on the last day.
If they end up leaving any belongings in the classroom the teacher will label it and bring it to the office. If the items are not picked up by June 3rd they will be thrown out or donated.
SCC Voting Ends on Wednesday
As a reminder, the voting for school community council is ongoing! It will finish at the end of the school day on Wednesday. If you haven’t voted already, please take the time to come over to the school to submit your ballot. Thanks to all who have already participated!
Parking Lot Reminder
Parents, please remember that our parking lot is NOT a drive through pick up and drop off area. We know that the pick-up lines can get LOOOONG, but using the parking lot to just “drive through” is not following our school safety guidelines.
If you choose to pull into the parking lot, we would ask you to please park your car in a stall and walk over to meet your student and walk them back to your vehicle using the crosswalks. We want ALL of our students to be able to enter and exit our school and the boundary area safely and to do that we need all of our community to participate.
As a suggestion, communicating to your student(s) that they need to be patient in waiting for you to arrive at the end of day as there are A LOT of parents trying to navigate through traffic.
We appreciate your help!
