Grownups & Goodies

On Wednesday Sept. 28th our PTA is sponsoring our Grownups and Goodies event. This starts at 7:30 am and will be held in the gym so plan on entering through the west doors. Parking on the west side is reserved for the faculty/staff. Thanks!

Book Fair

It’s time for the Scholastic Book Fair! On Wednesday Sept 28th it will kick off with the grownups and goodies event and they will be open for shopping from 3-8 pm during conferences. On Thursday it will open again from 11-8 pm. Thursday is the last shopping day, so make sure you’ve made your selections! We appreciate your support!

Boo to the Flu

Are you interested in getting a flu shot for your student? This week, during parent teacher conferences, Community Nursing Services will be in the KIVA offering those vaccinations from 4-7 pm.

We hope you took the opportunity to sign up for conferences as they are THIS WEEK! If not, you have one last chance to sign up as the window to sign up doesn’t close until 5pm on Sept 26th. We’re looking forward to seeing you all!

EARLY OUT DAY THURSDAY

On Thursday September 29th it is an early out day and students will be released at 1:15 pm. Early out days are only on a Thursday during parent teacher conference week. Please make sure to make arrangements for your students.

NO SCHOOL FRIDAY

This Friday, September 30th, is a no school day.

Parking Lot Tip

We wanted to do another shoutout to Brad Crist who noticed we were shorthanded on crosswalk duty last week during morning drop off and took it upon himself to grab a stop sign and help out! We REALLY appreciate the help from our Sunrise community! Thanks again Brad!!

This week we will have a lot of extra traffic with book fair events and parent teacher conferences. Please ensure you park in designated areas and watch for pedestrians in crosswalks.

Parking for events like Grownups and Goodies can be challenging so please plan to arrive early and be patient. We want all of our community to be safe.
