Our first school event for the 2025-26 school year is our Meet the Teacher event on August 12th from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm. Our teachers’ first day back at the school is on August 11th, so they will be feverishly preparing as much as possible to welcome their new students. Parents and students will be able to visit their classrooms and briefly visit with their teachers to get familiar with their surroundings.
We will also place small tent signs outside with teacher names on them. These are the same signs that will be placed during the first week of school to indicate where students should line up to meet their teachers before school each day. Teachers meet their classes outdoors and walk them into the classroom daily promptly at 8:15 am. Students can be on campus starting at 8:00 am (unless here earlier for breakfast).
This is also a good opportunity for parents to show their students the process for their after-school plan. Whether they walk directly home or need to watch for a ride, this is a great time to show your student where to go after school. All students exit out of their grade level door after the dismissal bell at 3:05 pm (these are also marked on windows).
