Sunrise Elementary is looking to hold our school community council elections this month. We have 4 available parent council positions on our board for the 2024-25 school year. There are trainings available for those who will be involved (at least one is required) and council members are expected to attend the monthly meetings that are usually held in the afternoons from 4-5 pm.
If you are interested in serving on our community council we ask that you fill out the attached declaration of candidacy form and bring it into the office (or send it to andrea.crismon@canyonsdistrict.org ) before April 19th. All candidacy forms are accepted and names are placed on the ballot for a parent vote. Elections will begin on Monday, April 22nd, and run through May 3rd to give all parents time to submit a ballot in the office.
