SCC Business:
- Call meeting to order
- Welcome
- Approval of November Minutes- Kat motions to approve, Sarah McBee seconds
Principals Report:
- SCC Bylaws- Angela sent by-laws to everyone. a few things that were added were roles and responsibilities of principal and chair and vice-chair. Changing # of members from 9 to 8. Based on the current schedule we have had we have left December free of SCC meetings. Codes were updated. Motion to approve by-laws Kat motions and Lyndsi seconds Motion passes Yes-7 No-0
- Removal of Second Step from TSSP climate goal- school board voted –
- Photographer change- many parents unhappy with the current photographer, lost pictures etc. Angela will reach out to Margaret to see what issues with Lifetouch were, as well as reach out to Lifetouch and Eastman Adams to get info from them so we can make a change.
- Winter CBM Data
- Digital Citizenship and School Safety Report/Discussion – follow up
- Presented information to PTA, will go deeper in future meetings
- Sent out directional information for parking lot in newsletter
- SNAP Plan
- December/January Safety Drill Report- 100% on drills so far. Improved fire drill time by about 1.5 minutes over the last fire drill
- Proposal to move SCC voting to Spring – it has been proposed that SCC voting be moved to the spring, rather than the fall. Kat motions, Sarah Mcbee Seconds Voting on moving election from fall to spring Yes- 6 No-1 Motion passes
Motion to change by-law to say that if the seats are not filled an additional election will be held in fall Kat Motions and Meghan 2nds Motion Passes -7 No-0
- Cell Tower Funds for Field Trips – $5,000- Committee unanimously approves moving $5000
from cell tower fund to fund field trips.
- Update on Book Machine – we have received the vending machine. PTA has offered scholastic bucks to fund books. Angela will reach out to other principals to see how they are using their machines.
- January Budgets
- Cell Tower – 30,172.65
- Land Trust – 45,445.21
- TSSP – 68,930.87
- Begin writing our TSSP and LAND Trust Plan for 2022
