SCC Business:

  1. Call meeting to order

  1. Approval of October Minutes
    1. no changes

 

Principals Report:

  1. November Safety Drill Report
    1. 100%
    2. bomb threat drill in a faculty meeting
    3. did our evacuation drill with students

 

  1. Review the current year’s Landtrust plan, data, and expenditures, and review if it is on course or if amendments are necessary

      3 Kinder Aids are hired

o   upped hours to 28

      Reading and Math aids hired

o   We have increased the hours of one of our Reading aids

      We have been using subs for ½ day BLTs and training for teachers

      Our BLT was able to attend the Solution Tree Conference

      All Software has been purchased

      We have hired an additional recess aid

a.     Pulled MTSS assistant from Landtrust to stay on track for budget trajectory

b.     We will go over data in January after Acadience testing, teachers will go over team goals

 

  1. Digital Citizenship Report Follow-Up
    1. Leslie came to present to us and the faculty
    2. information was sent out in newsletters
    3. Yes, we’ve received enough information but not enough with the parent connect portal. There are plans in place to address this.

  1. Safety Report Follow-Up
    1. Was the info helpful? yes, the videos were helpful because the drills became more concrete.
    2. The parking lot is the #1 safety concern.
    3. Do parents need to show an ID when volunteering in the classrooms? If the office staff does not know or recognize faces, they check IDs.
    4. School resource officer: Officer Z is split between 4-5 schools and currently, teaches NOVA at least 1 day a week. If we contact him he responds as needed. He is armed.
    5. Armed Guardian? At this point, the district is working on protocols. Guardian will work with the resource officer.
    6. Busses: When kids are on the busses, cameras are rolling. The district office has the footage, videos are only used/requested if there is a situation where further investigation is needed. They are deleted after a specific time.
